SUVANTO LEADS A TEAM PELFREY 1-2 AT OFFICIAL SERIES OVAL TEST

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA (May 5, 2012) -- Team Pelfrey's Petri Suvanto topped the time-charts at the most recent Official Star Mazda Series test, held at the Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, by placing his #81 Team Pelfrey/MazdaSpeed/Mazda quickest with a lap of 20.236.  Teammate Jack Hawksworth was happy to join Suvanto at the top, by posting the second quick time of 20.299 in his #82 Team Pelfrey / TORGOEN / EXA / Mazda, making it a Team Pelfrey 1-2.

Gustavo Menezes also showed great potential, posting the 6th fastest overall time of 20.524 in his 83 Team Pelfrey/Mazda.  Team Pelfrey and the rest of the Star Mazda series return to the famed 'LORI' facility for the Night before the 500 Race Event, Round 5 of the Star Mazda Championship, under the lights the evening of Saturday, May 26th.
